Almost everyone has to get their wisdom teeth removed as some point in their lives. Wisdom teeth have long been identified as a source of problems and continue to be the most commonly impacted teeth in the human mouth.
Wisdom teeth often do not grow strait. They are often troublesome in the later teen years and in early adulthood. They can be impacted meaning they are under the gumline growing in the wrong direction. They put pressure on the remaining teeth and can cause a lot of pain and damage.
